ERTH Power Corporation is a local distribution company (LDC) that provides safe and efficient delivery of electricity to approximately 25,000 residential and commercial customers within our licensed boundaries.

Our service territory spans 15 charming southwestern Ontario communities, from the scenic shores of Lake Erie to Lake Huron, including the municipalities of Aylmer, Port Stanley, Belmont, Ingersoll, Thamesford, Otterville, Norwich, Burgessville, Beachville, Embro, Tavistock, Clinton, Mitchell, Dublin and Goderich.
Our History
Our roots in the electric utility industry run deep. ERTH Power Corporation (formerly Erie Thames Powerlines) launched in July 2000, with the amalgamation of seven Public Utilities Commissions (PUCs) in Southwestern Ontario, including Port Stanley, Aylmer, Belmont, Ingersoll, Thamesford, Otterville, Norwich, Burgessville, Beachville, Embro, and Tavistock.
Over the years, ERTH Power has continued to expand its service territory by adding more municipalities. In 2011, ERTH Power added Clinton, Mitchell, and Dublin, Ontario to its service territory, and in 2019, Goderich was also merged with ERTH Power.
