ERTH Power is among the first utilities in Ontario to certify to the NAESB ESPI Version 3.3 Green Button Standard
Ingersoll, ON – On Friday, June 24, 2022, ERTH Power Corporation’s Green Button solution, the ERTH GB Connector, developed in partnership with Savage Data Systems and NorthStar Utilities Solutions, successfully achieved the Green Button Alliance’s Certification as compliant to the North American Energy Standards Board’s (NAESB) Energy Services Provider Interface (ESPI) version 3.3 business-practices specification, commonly known as the Green Button standard.

The Green Button Alliance’s testing and certification of ERTH Power’s GB Connector solution comes less than eight months after the Ministry of Energy mandated that Ontario utilities implement Green Button Connect My Data and Download My Data solutions by November 1, 2023.
“The Savage Data Custodian, which powers the ERTH GB Connector, was the first solution to certify as compliant to the NAESB ESPI version 3.3 standard for Energy-Usage Information in February 2022,” said Ron Savage, President and CEO of Savage Data Systems. “Through our partnership with ERTH and experience working with other utilities, we are now able to deploy the ERTH GB Connector, powered by Savage Data Systems, with virtually any ODS and billing system.”
