Save on Energy for Large Businesses

ERTH Power is committed to helping large commercial and industrial businesses manage energy use and reduce operating costs. As electricity demand continues to grow across Ontario, energy efficiency offers significant opportunities for larger organizations to achieve meaningful cost savings while also reducing strain on the electricity system. In partnership with the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), ERTH Power connects commercial and industrial customers with programs, incentives, and tools to help reduce electricity use and improve efficiency.

The Retrofit Program offers incentives for non-lighting equipment such as HVAC and manufacturing equipment upgrades. Applicants are required to submit an application and receive pre-approval for their projects in order to participate in the Retrofit program.

The Instant Discounts Program offers upfront savings on eligible energy-efficient lighting products through participating distributors, helping organizations reduce electricity use with minimal administrative effort.

Save on Energy has expanded its Energy Management program for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities. Financial support for industrial facilities is provided through Natural Resources Canada’s Green Industrial Facilities and Manufacturing Program.

The Expanded Energy Management (EEM) Program is a tailored offering designed to support organizations in strengthening energy management practices and achieving long-term energy savings. Available pathways include support to build in-house energy management capacity, participate in strategic energy management initiatives, implement energy management information systems, and access training opportunities.

The Energy Performance Program rewards organizations for improving energy performance through operational and behavioural changes that support ongoing and future capital investments.

Save on Energy’s Existing Building Commissioning (EBCx) program is designed to help commercial and institutional building owners and operators improve building performance by identifying and addressing operational inefficiencies. The program supports improved occupant comfort, reduced energy waste, and better overall system performance.

The XLerate Program supports industrial, municipal, institutional, and health-care organizations across Ontario as they plan and execute large-scale energy-efficiency projects. Eligible projects may receive up to $15 million in incentives.
