Changes to Electricity Prices for Households, Small Businesses and Farms Effective November 1, 2024
On November 1, 2024, new electricity prices take effect for customers on the Time-of-Use (TOU), Ultra-Low Overnight (ULO) and Tiered price plans. In addition, winter Time-of-Use (TOU) hours and the change in threshold for residential customers on Tiered pricing also take effect. The Ontario government’s Ontario Electricity Rebate (OER) will also change to 13.1%.
Residential and small business customers have the choice between Time-of-Use (TOU), Tiered and Ultra-Low Overnight (ULO) price plans. For more information, visit the Ontario Energy Board website and use the bill calculator to find out which price plan best suits your consumption habits.
